Traveling and keeping up with school has been a big learning experience for me this year as my travel schedule increased a lot when I started competing in World Cups. I just earned the designation of US Fencing All-American First Team for my academic achievements. First Team members must carry a GPA of 3.85 - 4.00, so I'm working really hard to keep up with everything.
This award will be announced at the U.S. Fencing Junior Olympics this weekend (Feb. 12th - 15th) in Memphis, Tennessee. I'll be competing in the Junior Olympics in both Cadet and Junior age-groups.
Last week I was in Sweden with my dad at the Cadet and Junior World Cup. Here's a picture of all of us who competed.
